Christopher Darrow is the President of Darrow Mustafa P.C. Mr. Darrow practices in the areas of patent, trademark, copyright, licensing, contracts involving technology and intellectual property, and litigation. 

 

Practice Summary

As a registered patent attorney, Mr. Darrow is responsible for procuring and managing large portfolios of U.S. and foreign patents for several large corporations.   

Mr. Darrow’s litigation background includes serving as a law clerk to Judge Paul D. Borman in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, practicing intellectual property law at a large international law firm, and litigating numerous cases dealing with a variety of intellectual property issues.

Mr. Darrow serves as a consultant to federal judges in patent infringement cases, including in the roles of special master and technical adviser.  Mr. Darrow co-authored with a federal judge in the Eastern District of Michigan a set of model case management orders for patent infringement cases.

In his role as a court appointed special master and technical adviser, Mr. Darrow typically assists judges in settlement conferences by acting as a facilitator or mediator.  He is also available to assist another mediator chosen by the parties with patent law issues and understanding the technology at issue in the case.  Mr. Darrow has completed civil mediator training.
